My trip to Tanzania was beyond expectation.
"Our tour guide/driver spoke perfect English – he was friendly, passionate about his work and very knowledgeable – he knew the animals and birds that we saw – he was funny too! The hotels in the Serengeti/Ngorongoro were very comfortable and the scenery from my bedroom and or dining area was breathtaking. The food was delicious – I had a couple of dishes I had never tried before and it was all good! I spent my last 3 days in Zanzibar, and it was a paradise – I enjoyed especially the romantic beaches and sunset. TAMRI International truly know how to plan, organize, and carry on a tour smoothly. I’m coming back next year and I’m bringing my friends too and we’ll use TAMRI International again."
Yes, I did it!
Initially I was reluctant to take the many hours flight to Tanzania, but I don’t regret a bit. I was lucky I was able to sleep all throughout and was I rewarded big! In the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, I had never seen so many wild animals roaming around and paying us no attention. We saw the ‘Big five’ in Serengeti. I like the way our trip was executed from the driver/guide to accommodation, food and the daily activities all went very well. My only regret – I should have budgeted more time in Tanzania. I would like to recommend Tamri International to anybody travelling to Africa especially Tanzania.
I’ve always wanted to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro [The 2nd highest Mountain in the world]. When I visited Tanzania, I thought I’d give it a try, but I knew I was a little bit rusted. So instead of climbing Kilimanjaro, I took a hike up the mountain for two hours and called it a day – I have seen and took a hike on Kilimanjaro in Tanzania ‘HAVE YOU?” Other than the mountain, I wanted to meet the people and learn from each other. These are the Chagga people around Kilimanjaro – they showed us the caves which were made during the war with the Germans, we learnt how they prepare ‘ndizi’ [their staple food] they showed us how they care for the coffee tree and how to roast and prepare coffee – almost everybody there grow Arabica coffee and consume and export the rest for cash. We even tasted their local brew and stepped into rhythm with their traditional dance with some of the girls showing us how it’s done – it was fun. I thank TAMRI International for organizing all this for us.
